Introduction

We work in General Physics Institute (Moscow, Russia). Our main subject is
the synthesis of oxide single crystals. Mainly, we are working
in the field of growth of new optical  materials by the Czochralski and EFG techniques.
Also, we carrying out the investigations in the automation of the crystal growth
processes. In 1991 our team developed the automatic growth program "VEGA"
for the Czochralski method.
By means of these pages we tried to demonstrate the recent and the most
interesting results of our work. We will be appreciate very much any comments and
suggestions about our work, and about these pages in particular.
