The second part of the volume 5 contained descriptions, illustrations, synonymy and dates on geographic distribution and ecology for representatives of the subfamilies Clausiliinae and Baleinae of the clausiliids molluscs from the territory former USSR. In total, described 38 species with many subspecies and forms from these two subfamilies. The subgenus Serratoplicata Egorov, subgen. nov. isolated in genus Quadriplicata.
Also, the volume contain list of correction for errors in previous part, systematic list of the fauna of clausiliid molluscs in territory former USSR and illustrated four-language glossary of terms used in description of clausiliid molluscs. Many illustrations of shells, references and maps of distribution are given.
