Presently, 5 families with 17 genera contained 63 species are known for seas of Russia and adjacent waters. Five species are described as new. A new subfamily, Oligomeriinae subfam.nov. is isolated in the family Trochidae. As a result of studying author supplemented data on ecology and distribution of trochid mollusks, and specified diagnoses of subfamilies, genera and some rare and little-known species. An analysis of original descriptions and examination of type material allowed to revise the taxonomic position of some species and their synonymy.
